Fall Open House includes a track specific to transfer students. Following the first Financial Aid Presentation, transfer students will follow this schedule:
- 12:30 - 1 pm · Transfer Student Lunch: All transfer students and their guests are encouraged to join us for an invite-only lunch to connect with other transfer students and our transfer admissions counselors.
- 1 - 1:30 pm · Wrap Around Support for Transfer Students: Join us for a session from our Advising Team, Wellness Center and Care Team on the comprehensive services designed to support transfer student success.
- 1:30 - 2 pm · Current Student + Alumni Panel: Hear from current SUNY Poly students and alumni, who started their SUNY Poly careers as transfer students, as they share insights into academics, life at Poly andmore.

To give you the best experience, our on-campus visits are small and personalized. Each on-campus visit includes an hour-long guided walking tour of campus and a 30-minute admissions overview and/or meeting with an Admissions Advisor.
Looking for an immediate admission decision? Come to campus for our Instant Decision Day in-person, one-on-one appointment with an Admissions Advisor. They'll review your transcript, determine your offer of admission, and get you on a campus tour.
Meet with an Admissions Advisor from the comfort of your own home! These individualized virtual appointments can be up-to 30 minutes. Ask any and all of the questions you have about SUNY Poly, the admissions process, and more. You can invite your parent or educational supporter join, too.
